Cairns Regional Council is putting together a “Register of Prequalified Suppliers for Project Consultants” and if you specialise in any of the number of professional services this is a great opportunity to get onto the Council’s radar for possible future work.
The Register process will prequalify service suppliers for the future consideration by the Council when appropriate work arises. Those accepted onto the Register will be able to tender for specific projects.
As the tender explains, “Council will from time to time engage various consultancy services for pre-construction, construction, post-construction projects and other consultancy services relevant to Council business requirements. This could include part or all of the pre-construction activities for any public works or projects including concept, planning, preliminary design, detailed design, prototype production, and all associated activities.”
A number of other tasks, from project management to advisory functions, might also become available.
